To help keep up with this growth we are looking for an outstanding Principal Software Engineer to be part of our Information Technology Group.

A Software Quality Assurance Tester can apply the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures related to testing software applications.

+ Responsible for performing testing on computer software applications to ensure they are working effectively and that they meet defined requirements and functional specifications

+ Responsible for producing high quality test plans, developing test cases, performing test execution, managing defects, and working closely with developers

+ Authors, reviews and classifies basic functional testing scenarios

+ Defines and documents functional test exceptions

+ Classifies and analyzes functional test scenarios to establish the area of the application they are focused on and priorities

+ Tracks and annotates daily testing activities

+ Communicates and illuminates problem areas or work stoppages based on daily testing tasks

+ Records and reports on software defects, ensuring clarity in defect reproduction and acting as gatekeeper of defects submitted by the business

+ Performs system, functional, interface, integration and regression testing

+ Applies analytical and problem solving skills to validate IT and business processes through careful testing

+ Collaborates with developers and business analysts in application testing and defect management

+ Reports test results, documents software defects using a bug tracking system and communicates defects to software developers

+ Develops and communicates test metrics to management and business analysts

+ Good communication, collaboration and writing skills

+ Capable of writing test plans that include coverage and testing approach, as well as detailed test cases that are clear and reusable

+ Ability to perform test execution and capture results for testing including system, functional, regression, and load testing

+ Ability to create test plans based on requirements from architects and business analysts

+ Ability to validate identified bugs, and work with test engineers and developers to fix broken tests

+ Ability to update test plans as needed and create reports on stability of builds

+ 0-2 years of experience

+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
